THERM+ fire resistance

Only minor additions to the THERM+ base systems are required to execute THERM+ as a fire resistant curtain wall in various protection classes. The maximum size of 1,500 x 3,000 mm of the panes provides a new dimension in fire protection.

Technology in detail

The THERM+ fire resistant curtain wall is based on the multiple approved mullion-transom-basis system and are realisied with minor additions and modifications:

Aluminium: Aluminium glass carrier, short length stainless steel reinforcement to pressure plate, intumescent strip in glazing rebate.
Steel: Aluminium glass carrier, stainless steel reinforcement for pressure profile, ­intumenescent fire protection strip in the rebate.
Timber: Aluminium glass carrier, stainless steel reinforcement for pressure profile, short piece.
