Corona and new challenges

Covid-19 has had an impact everywhere since last year - whether it’s in everyday life or in the working world. Managing Director of RAICO Manfred Hebel emphasizes: "We are proud but also grateful that we have been able to guide our company and our employees through this pandemic very well so far. All employees contributed to this with team spirit, trust, commitment and optimal communication."

It is precisely in times like these that it becomes clear what RAICO as a company represents: dynamism in terms of our organisation, quality products, and of course strong employees. This enables us to master unimagined challenges anywhere. An example of this is an extraordinary project by RAICO Pacific, based in Australia. A building with an approximately 11-meter-high THERM+ A-V glass façade was successfully constructed in the Atoll of Kiritimati, isolated by Corona, some 7,000 km from Australia in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, with only one on-site, untrained but resourceful construction team commissioned by the customer. The simplicity of our RAICO system, coupled with our thoughtful processing down to the smallest detail and daily RAICO remote support through video and telephone conferencing made it all possible. Manfred Hebel sees this as a confirmation of RAICO's corporate strategy: "We combine technical and high quality products that are reliable and easy to handle with our excellent service. In this way, we create security and stability for ourselves and our customers, even during turbulent times."
