RAICO presents its timber element façade ELEMENT⁺ H-I

"Inspired by the greenest building in the world: Nature.“

With this motto, the development team of RAICO Bautechnik GmbH has faced what could be classed as one of the biggest challenges in construction: Sustainability. The result is as simple as it is ingenious: an environmentally friendly, modular element façade made from solid wood. The new ELEMENT⁺ H-I concept is based on the proven RAICO THERM⁺ H-I façade system. Due to the very high degree of prefabrication - large projects and time-critical construction projects can be completed efficiently and punctually. RAICO ELEMENT⁺ H-I is also compliant with the strict urban planning requirements regarding ecology and energy efficiency.

"Green building is not just a buzzword to us, but rather an approach," explains Managing Director Manfred Hebel. "With ELEMENT⁺ H-I we use the benefits of the renewable raw material of wood, not just today but also in the future.“

Ahead of the market launch in Stuttgart, we are about to complete the Cradle to Cradle Certified® product standard version 4 certification by EPEA GmbH. This product certification proves the environmentally intelligent design and the goal of leaving a positive footprint throughout the product's entire life cycle.

In addition to its ecological advantages, RAICO ELEMENT⁺ H-I naturally also scores technically: With 1,800 pascal, the water tightness according to EN12154 exceeds standard aluminium façades by almost double. The possible installation thicknesses of the elements, which measure a maximum of 3 x 4 metres (width x height) and weigh up to 1,000 kg, are between 40 and 64 mm, while the face width of the frames is 50 mm. Optional field subdivision with THERM⁺ H-I is possible. The ELEMENT⁺ H-I system has been tested and approved in accordance with ETA. The EAD 130186-0603 document "THREE-DIMENSIONAL NAILING PLATES" is requested.
