Detailed information

Aqualagon – Where architecture and nature merge

The Aqualagon, just a few kilometres from Disneyland and 32 km from Paris, is part of Center Parcs' Villages Nature Paris holiday resort. Designed by Jacques Ferrier, it is one of the largest indoor water parks in Europe. The striking origami-style glass architecture blends into its surroundings of gardens and forests. The building is designed to adapt optimally to wind direction and sun exposure: it is flooded with light, sheltered from the wind and uses natural ventilation in summer. Like an unfolding landscape, the building rises up to 35 metres high and is characterised by water, steam and hanging gardens. It combines nature and architecture to create a new, vibrant landscape – a landmark of Villages Nature that is visible from afar, day and night. Covering around 13,000 m², the complex offers four themed areas: bubbling whirlpools, wave pools and a lazy river, a spa area, as well as slides and climbing walls.
