Detailed information

Tucked into the edge of Bruneck, the Heliks Climbing Centre brings the Alpine spirit indoors. Shaped like a jagged, spiralling shell of limestone-toned concrete, the building opens up and folds around an open-air courtyard. Inside, 2,500 m² of vertical terrain wind through light-filled spaces used daily by school kids and climbers alike. Key to that daylight and openness is the RAICO THERM+ S-I steel curtain wall, paired with WING ventilation windows and FRAME+ doors. This glass pull the light in and open the building up from within, while the outer walls remain quietly grounded in bush-hammered concrete.
