Detailed information
Delivered in just seven months, the NIOA Timber Tower in Brisbane sets a new standard for commercial design as Australia’s first non-residential building made entirely from locally sourced Mass Engineered Timber. Its fully prefabricated CLT structure allowed for swift, streamlined construction, with the five-story tower assembled in less than a month. Exposed timber, paired with RAICO’s structural timber curtain wall, shapes interiors that feel both natural and refined, offering a tactile warmth rarely found in office environments. Conceived as a prototype for low-impact construction, the building reduces carbon emissions and features materials designed for complete disassembly and reuse, presenting a forward-thinking model for sustainable workplaces.
