Resources

Sustainable environmental and resource protection is feasible and secures the future for coming generations. Whether aluminium, steel or wood systems: all RAICO products are technically reliable, durable, resource-efficient and recyclable. Our profiles are easy to recycle. Aluminium and steel, for example, can be recycled almost indefinitely. Wooden façade systems even bind large amounts of CO2. We use materials specifically where they offer the greatest ecological and functional benefits.

Only those who look at things closely, uncover weaknesses and recognise potential are able to solve problems. At RAICO, we not only look very closely, but also far ahead. We want to improve products and their benefits – for people, for the environment, and for all who want to join us in taking the lead. Only then can visions give rise to innovations that bring lasting success.

This has always been our approach. Back in the day, our first serial product, “CLIMA”, already created an excellent indoor climate in our customers’ conservatories. Today, the solutions we’re continually developing are applied in our THERM+, FRAME+ and SLIFT systems. Likewise, the technology and energy design of our company headquarters was ahead of its time when it was created back in 1999. The passive house concept realised there still sets the standard today. The added values of tomorrow are being designed by our internal RAICO Project Group 4.0. Whether for digitalisation, the environment or sustainability – together, we’ll stay ahead of the future in the future as well.

Something that has always been a matter of course at RAICO is now a well-established international megatrend: GLOCALISATION. The term combines “global” and “local” – i.e. “producing locally” and “selling globally”. We’ve always pursued this strategy, because we’re committed to our location and our products. To us, “Made in Germany” means:

Climate Protection

Is it possible to actually measure sustainability? Some attempt to do so by measuring CO2 savings in tons, while others quantify their ecological footprint in gha (biologically productive area expressed in “global hectares”). RAICO climate protection goes far beyond this. Our products score high thanks to many details that not only save CO2 during manufacture, but also every day anew throughout their life cycle.
