Centre Aquatique Aqualagon

The Aqualagon, just a few kilometres from Disneyland and 32 km from Paris, forms part of Center Parcs’ Villages Nature Paris holiday resort. Designed by Jacques Ferrier, it is one of the largest indoor water parks in Europe. Its striking origami-style glass architecture blends seamlessly into its surroundings of gardens and woodland. The building is designed to adapt perfectly to wind direction and the sun’s path: it is flooded with light, sheltered from the wind and makes use of natural ventilation in summer. Like an unfolding landscape, the building rises to a height of up to 35 metres and is characterised by water, steam and hanging gardens. It combines nature and architecture to create a new, vibrant landscape – a landmark of Villages Nature that is visible from afar, day and night. Spanning around 13,000 m², the complex features four themed areas: bubbling whirlpools, pools with a wave pool and a lazy river, a spa area, as well as slides and climbing walls.
