Where the future becomes a reality
The NAWAREUM in Straubing is a hands-on museum dedicated to renewable raw materials and renewable energy. Across three floors, in the garden and within a modern passive house, visitors can get involved at numerous interactive stations – and try out creative solutions for the world of tomorrow. The museum is part of the Technology and Development Centre (TFZ), a research institution of the Free State of Bavaria, and is run in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich and C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. The NAWAREUM sees itself as a bridge between science and society – and focuses on curiosity rather than lecturing. The focus is on shared discovery: playful, experience-based and suitable for all age groups.
