A sports venue steeped in tradition
Since the 1972 Olympic Games, the indoor swimming pool has been an integral part of Munich’s sporting life. Today, not only competitive swimmers but also recreational swimmers train beneath the striking tent-like roof – in the city’s only public 50-metre indoor pool.
The facility offers a wide range of options, including a total of five pools, a diving area with platforms up to ten metres high, a children’s area with water attractions, and a spacious sauna area with a snow cabin. The facilities are complemented by a gym. There is also space for activities outdoors – with a sunbathing lawn, trampolines and table tennis tables. A place that has something for everyone, whether you’re a professional or a family.
