BAVARIA’S BEST 50!

RAICO excels in ‚Bavaria’s Best 50‘ rating: In the Emperor’s Hall at Munich Residence, Bavarian companies were awarded the rating ‘Bavaria’s Best 50’ to acknowledge their above-average growth. The renowned prize – a Bavarian lion figurine - was awarded by Martin Zeil, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, to RAICO’s managing directors Albert Inninger and Rainer Vögele. Accounting firm Ernst & Young AG identified the best companies in Bavaria according to the Birch index which is based on the main criteria sales growth and growth of employee numbers.

In the afternoon, a joint press conference took place with three selected companies – RAICO Bautechnik one of them  – and Bavaria’s prime minister Horst Seehofer. Albert Inninger and Rainer Vögele proudly expressed their joy when explaining the reasons for the company success: ‘For us, this award confirms our company philosophy: To develop and to market innovative high-quality glazing systems for windows and façades with our highly motivated and professional staff.’

Founded in 1992 in Erkheim/Germany, today RAICO Bautechnik’s headquarters are located in Pfaffenhausen near Mindelheim. The company is rooted in metal construction and in the production of conservatories. In 1995, the company took the important step to transforming itself into a system vendor designing and distributing glazing systems. From aluminium windows to highly complex façade structures, RAICO provides system solutions which can be perfectly adapted to the individual features and requirements of any project. In line with the company motto ‘The Professional’s Profile’, the products from Pfaffenhausen will be found in many outstanding architectural highlights of our time, such as museums, hotels, modern event arenas, airport terminals, and many more buildings.

One of the most important enterprises in the region, the company at present employs more than 160 people, 13 %  being apprentices to be trained in nine different formal professions.

Consistent innovation management in combination with the target-oriented geographical extension of sales activities will continue to determine the strategy of RAICO Bautechnik, and will thus ensure the constant over-average growth of the company also in the future.
